Audio-technica headphones ATHANC7 noise cancelling are by far the best I've tried, and they are much less money than the Bose noise 2?s QC. I personally like the models over-the-ear, so you really can't compare with the 3? s QC.
Audio-technica ATH-ANC7 a great overall sound and are extremely comfortable, more comfortable in my opinion the QC 2?s. how comfortable? Actually I take trips to Italy with my wife, very often (every few months) because she's from there. The last 3 trips I had 2?s QC and used for all flights. My ears, where about to fall after each of these flights, but I still wanted to the headphones of course ...I got my 2?s QC stolen in Italy and had to go back and get something new, so I went with the Audio Technicas …I didn't want to spring for another 300 dollars!
I took another trip, last month in Italy with audio-technica headphones ATHANC7 noise canceling and rocked it! The "noise" is much better with actual Audio Technicas. I didn't have to turn my iPod almost as much of that time and didn't hear anything-no children cry, nothing!
The comfort of the headphones themselves were incredibly comfortable too ... like, much more comfortable. I had these once loooooong flight to Italy and back again.
Overall, I would always recommend audio-technica headphones noise cancelling ATHANC7 in place of noise canceling headphones Bose purchase. You'll save a lot of money and get a quality, comfortable set of headphones as well.
Come with a large enclosure, basically like the case of Bose I had. The sound is great, maybe a little weak in the low range. But the overall sound is still very high. Headphones run on a AAA battery as the 2?s QC.
