Ear Force AKR8

So I purchased this headset because I wanted a good headset to watch movies with, listen to music, and play games on. Since I play online games a lot, the mic option was also an important factor for me.

The sound quality is absolutetly the greatest thing I've ever heard. Surround sound in a headset was a brilliant idea and is well implemented with this headset.

When I bought this headset, I was a little wary because people were unhappy with the static that their mic was putting out. However, I found this to be a very easy fix. When you install your drivers for the headset, in the SRM program that gets installed, goto the Mixer tab and reduce the volume in the record settings down near the bottom until you see nearly no green noise in the volume levels. Then if you need to boost your sound, do it by increasing the gain on ventrillo or teamspeak.

All in all, the best $100 I've spent on a headset.Buy Ear Force AKR8!
